Company Review

Since its founding in 2007 by home construction and real estate entrepreneur Kyle Finley and a group of like-minded business people, Twin Termite & Pest Control has established a reputation as a community leader in the pest control trade. From their headquarters at 3720 Madison Ave. Suite 100 in North Highlands, team members provide commercial and residential pest control services for people throughout Sacramento, Placer, El Dorado, and Yolo counties, with satellite offices situated in Vacaville, Auburn, Contra Costa, and San Diego.

The Leadership Team alongside the Termite and Pest Control Divisions perform industry-standard treatments for ants, fleas, mosquitos, cockroaches, spiders, termites, silverfish, bees, wasps, bed bugs, and more, plus remediation of rodents such as mice, rats, and other pests.

A big advantage of using Twin Termite is that the technicians are not only licensed pest control experts, but some are also home inspectors and general contractors. This means that they can accurately inspect and repair the damage done to your home or building from pests such as termites, beetles, and even dry rot. This is also why many realtors, restaurants, mortgage, and property management companies use the business for their home and building inspections.

Twin Termite’s parent company, Twin Termite Pest Control & Construction, Inc., is located next door to headquarters and has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.

Customers by and large report excellent quality and timeliness of service, professionalism from office staff, technicians, and inspectors, and a well-informed, caring, and organized customer service experience. A number of people commented that they were impressed with how well the company corrected mistakes made during home inspections and repairs.

Although most customers gave Twin Termite glowing reviews, some people expressed dissatisfaction, predominantly in regards to home inspections and termite infestations. In just about every case, the owner responded with detailed information on the work performed and took responsibility when doing so seemed warranted by the facts. The overall vibe of the company is that there’s a culture of concern regarding quality of work, and a determination to improve training for inspectors and technicians who underperform.

Free online or phone estimates are available for pest control, and there are also free consultations on ‘pest exclusions’ aimed at discovering if you have rodents or other small wildlife enjoying free rent in your home or business. In regards to pest control of bugs, you have the option of choosing a one-time treatment with a 30-day guarantee or bi-monthly and quarterly service plans that include unlimited return visits if infestations reoccur between service calls.

Termite inspections are not free, but do include checking for wood decay fungi, dry rot infection, wood-boring beetles, carpenter ants and bees, and two kinds of termites. The monthly extended termite warranty also comes with a 30% discount on quarterly or bi-monthly pest control treatments.

Home inspections are aimed at providing realtors, buyers, and owners alike with information on any damage to the infrastructure in a home or building, including from pest infestations. The goal is to help everyone invest strategically.

Twin Termite also offers convenient online payment options and prepaid discounts for some services.

In addition, all the products used by Twin Termite are kid and pet friendly. The company also offers the option of eco-cleaning for crawl space and attic areas during pest exclusion.

If you’re looking for a comprehensive pest control, wildlife, home inspection, and repair service that offers competitive pricing and overall positive ratings by both private customers and realtors alike, Twin Termite & Pest Control is a great option for you. Although there is some room for improvement in company training of home and pest inspectors, there is also excellent owner and management follow-up when customer service or inspection issues do occur.
