Bug House Pest Control Review

Our Overall Rating (4.4)

Company Review

Bug House Pest Control is a Georgia staple for problem pests. Their recognizable red trucks are seen in over 14 counties across the state. Their mission throughout their 30 years of service to Georgia is to maintain the highest level of professionalism to both customers and employees to provide the best pest control solutions possible.

Bug House Pest Control technicians go inside your home and all over your property. They take this fact very seriously and go above and beyond the call of duty to make their customers feel comfortable. They are trained not only in the science of pest control but also in proper etiquette. Bug House sends the same technician to your home each time they visit to ensure you feel at ease.

There are three main pest protection plans at Bug House Pest Control, with an option to customize if you have unusual pests. These three plans are the quarterly plan at $75 per quarter, protection plan at $50 per month with a $199 starting fee, and defender plan at $70 per month with a $199 starting fee.

The quarterly plan offered by Bug House includes all Georgia’s most common pests such as:

  • Roaches
  • Ants
  • Silverfish
  • Scorpions
  • Fleas
  • Centipedes

With the protector plan, customers receive all the benefits of the quarterly plan as well as bed bugs and termite protection. The defender plan goes even further by including everything in the protector plan with the addition of mosquito protection. Bug House will also custom tailor a plan to fit whatever pest needs are present.

Georgia is a southern state and can produce some rambunctious wildlife that have been known to enter personal dwellings and businesses in search of protection. Bug House offers a wildlife protection program to rid structures of these pests as well as deter them from returning.

The wildlife removal program covers these typical Georgia nuisances:

  • Squirrels
  • Bats
  • Snakes
  • Raccoons
  • Rats
  • Mice
  • Chipmunks

Moisture control is another service offered by Bug House. Its closed crawl space system is the most durable and inclusive of any on the market. It helps clean the air that filters through your home, reducing allergies and even lowering heating and cooling bills. It also offers a 25-year warranty on all parts.

The website for Bug House offers no information on pricing for wildlife removal or moisture control.

Pest control customers receive a free home inspection and complete evaluation of their pest issues. Together, Bug House and the customer decided what the best of action is for the structure and type of infestation. They return at no charge if bugs reappear.

Reviews of Bug House Pest Control are overwhelmingly positive. The option to pay for quarterly pest control with no starting fee is an undeniable hit with Georgians. Other topics mentioned are the knowledge and courtesy of all staff, from the field techs to the office personnel.

There is one negative review with the Better Business Bureau about a botched bed bug extermination in 2018. It was resolved the same year. Bug House maintains an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.

Overall, this is a pest control company you can trust with a great low-cost option.
