The Neuse is an award-winning pest control company serving residents and businesses in Raleigh, NC-area. For the last 19 years, they have committed themselves to provide extermination services using cutting-edge technology and equipment to eliminate destructive pests including ants, cockroaches, termites, and bedbugs. Their friendly team of technicians are well-trained and exhibit superior workmanship that guarantees customer satisfaction.
What I liked about their technicians is their individualized attention to a customer’s needs. As such, rather than offering a generic extermination solution, they take time to investigate the root cause of pest infestation. This way, you can rest assured you won’t have a recurring pest problem, which would otherwise cost you more in the long haul.
Speaking of costs, Neuse Pest Control services are pretty affordable, depending on your needs. Usually, the company charges $25 a month and $75 for a quarterly treatment plan. Of course, each of these plans come with a free price quote and inspection. All payments are made online through the customer’s portal activated upon submitting your email address to the company’s office.
What’s unique about Neuse Pest and Termite control is that they offer an ‘Outside only’ extermination service plan. With this service, pest control materials are applied outdoors rather than inside the house. This extermination plan is quite effective, considering that most pests reside outdoors. Even so, the exterminators will also treat entry points and the perimeter of your home to ensure the pests will not crawl back into the indoors. The ‘Outside only’ plan works best for busy homeowners who aren’t at home throughout the day. You aren’t necessarily required to be at home since treatment can be done even in your absence.
As far as pest treatment is concerned, I was excited to learn that Neuse uses eco-friendly products that are safe for the environment. While they are lethal to pests such as termites, crickets, and ants, I found the chemicals harmless to pets and an individual’s health. However, if you are sensitive to insecticides, you may opt for the ‘Outside only’ extermination plan. This way, you won’t have to deal with pesticides in your living space.
Still, on chemical application, Neuse excels in offering comprehensive termite treatment. They offer a wide range of termite treatment options including the industry-leading Termidor. This treatment plan is known to offer protection against termites for close to 10 years after application. Termidor is extremely effective since it acts as more than just a barrier to insects. It is undetectable by termites and as they forage into an area that has been treated, they carry the active ingredient to other termites eventually killing all of them.
On the downside, Neuse hasn’t managed to maintain a spotless record of service delivery. There have been several complaints about their poor customer support stemming from slow response to customer queries via telephone. Also, Neuse’s subscription renewal fee usually fluctuates especially for those in their third year of an annual subscription. What’s even worse is that customers aren’t notified of these price changes during the initial purchase of service.
Overall, Neuse Pest and Termite Control is a reliable extermination service provider. They are thorough in their work and have shown their commitment to improving customer satisfaction. However, the company ought to improve its customer support to retain and even win more customers. Also, customers would appreciate if the company was honest with their renewal costs. It’s disappointing for loyal customers to learn that the renewal costs aren’t constant throughout their annual subscription.
