Sure Pest Control in Houston, Texas is a company founded by Mr. Greg Lee and has been serving Houston and the surrounding areas since 2011. In the nine years it has been in business, it has had really, really good reviews and really, really bad reviews.

Its Houston, Texas office is located at 4401 S. Pinemont Dr. Ste 220, Houston, Texas. In doing research for this company the biggest problem that I ran into was the fact that every link to its website was a dead link. There were plenty of reviews on Yelp, but yet again no working link to its site.

There were multiple reviews that referred to Sure Pest Control as “Pure Pest Control.” There was no information that indicated the company had changed its name and restructured its operations.

The link to its website that was on Yelp was purepest.com. Unfortunately, this link takes you to Pure Pest Control in St. Louis, Missouri. The BBB website had the link surepestcontrol.com and it was a dead link as well.

It would seem according to the reviews that were available that this company does take care of basic pests such as ants, roaches, rodents, fleas, and mosquitoes. I found no mention in any of the reviews about specific services or systems the company offers.

The reviews that were positive mentioned how professional the service technicians were when coming to a client’s home to perform the requested treatments. Most of these reviews were 4 to 5 stars and those clients seemed to be satisfied.

The big drawback to Sure Pest Control was the negative reviews, and it would seem that there were far more of these than the positive ones.

It would seem that Sure Pest Control has put a rather “bad taste’ in the mouth of some clients, with some of them giving the company a real thrashing about their experience. Most of these clients complained about the lack of professionalism in the front offices and technicians that never showed up.

Then there was this issue.

Apparently, several clients felt that they had been “hoodwinked” into a long-term contract with Sure Pest Control when it was only called to perform specific duties such as mice and roach control. Some older clients stated they were taken advantage of because of the fine print at the bottom of the work order.

Once the work was performed and the client was satisfied, they signed the work order as complete without the service technician explaining that they were actually signing a one-year contract for Sure Pest to perform their most expensive monthly service package.

It does seem that those clients who referred to the issues with the front office had previously been totally satisfied with the way they were treated until the office personnel changed. That leads me to believe that the company did indeed do some restructuring.

When it’s good, it’s good. When it’s bad, it’s terrible, it would seem.

There was no information on the company’s policy and procedure in regard to pets and children.

It was also sad to find out that the company had a D- rating and is not accredited with the BBB due to unresolved customer complaints.

In conclusion, I can only say that this company indeed has some pertinent issues that need prompt attention. And it might want to begin with a working website link.
