Company Review
Pest Patrol was founded in San Diego in 1982, and they have been family-owned and operated ever since. They are headquartered at 9030 Carroll Way, Ste. 8 San Diego, CA 92121, and they are run by third-generation San Diego residents.
Pest Patrol has served over 25,000 customers in the San Diego area over the last 38 years for all sorts of pest problems, and they are licensed and insured. If you have any pest control needs, they can be contacted by phone at (760)789-5889, and they can also be contacted through email at pestpatrolincsd@gmail.com.
Pest Patrol offers general pest control for ants, roaches, centipedes, millipedes, mice, silverfish, spiders, wasps, and pantry pests. They offer monthly, bi-monthly, and quarterly regular services, but those are mostly outdoor treatments. However, if you have difficulties with pests inside the buildings on your property during or between those regular treatments, a technician can come inside and treat at no extra cost.
Pest Patrol also offers options for rodent control, termite treatment, escrow inspections for real estate, attic restoration, and bed bug control for any property, whether it’s a home or a commercial property.
There are a couple things that stick out about Pest Patrol: their professionalism and their focus on real estate services.
Firstly, Pest Patrol stands out as a very professional company. Their presence on Yelp is the most business-like I’ve seen so far. They have a verified license marking on Yelp, recent updates from their company on the site, plenty of pictures showing evidence of their services, a well-maintained page overall, and very good responses to negative reviews. One of the negative reviews even has an update saying that the owner sent them a kind personalized letter in response to their review.
Secondly, Pest Patrol really focuses on real estate clients. At the time of this article, they are currently offering up to $300 off for real estate agents, and one of the main links on their list of services is real estate termite clearance. It seems that their escrow clearances are one of their more frequent services, so if that’s in your wheelhouse, that’s something that could set Pest Patrol apart for you.
When it comes to affordability, Pest Patrol seems like a solid option. It appears that they regularly have discounts and sales on their page, which is a nice bonus. At the time of writing this article, new customers and referrals can save up to 50% off. There is also a special temporary offer where any client can get up to $300 off attic restorations.
While these specific promotions may not always be available, they offer free quotes and estimates online. So, if you love a good bargain, Pest Patrol could be who you’re looking for.
On their website, Pest Patrol emphasizes being family-friendly and helping you keep your peace of mind when it comes to the pest control treatments on your property. They even take pictures inside your attic and share them with you immediately, so you are aware of the work they are doing. They are a family-operated business who desires to make your family feel safe.
They also mention that their treatments are eco-friendly, but they don’t give any specifics about the systems they use or provide details about how it is more eco-friendly. Perhaps a more detailed dive into their website would provide more information, but that’s something to keep in mind.
All in all, it seems that Pest Patrol is worth a shot. They have only one non-5-star Google review, leaving them with 4.8 stars, and even the negative review mentioned getting $500 back for their dissatisfaction. They have 4.5 stars on Yelp, and a B- review from the BBB, because of the same reviewer that left their only negative Google review. Although I would not enthusiastically recommend them, I’d say they’re definitely worth looking into.
