Company Review
Aruza Pest Control was founded over 20 years ago and the business has been expanding ever since. They now have four locations in North Carolina and one location in South Carolina.
All their employees are QualityPro trained (QualityPro is the leading credentialing program among pest management professionals), and they prioritize honesty, positive treatment of their employees, and sustainability.
Aruza Pest Control offers residential and commercial services. Their services cover American cockroaches, meal moths, odorous house ants, cicada killers, clover mites, crickets, earwigs, flies, Indian meal moths, millipedes, mosquitoes, silverfish, cell bugs, spiders, Argentine ants, centipedes, hornets, wasps, fleas, fire ants, ticks, and rodents.
There are a few things that stand out about Aruza in particular: the way they treat their staff and their reviews.
First, their leadership seems very focused on treating their staff well and training them to expertly service their clients. As previously mentioned, their employees are all QualityPro trained, which means that they have a firm grasp on how to treat pests appropriately and efficiently. The company’s mission statement also includes that they strive to pay their employees well, which is a very admirable goal for any company.
Secondly, they have excellent reviews. They have 4.8 stars on Google Reviews out of 763 reviews and 4.5 stars on Yelp out of 25 reviews. Many of the negative reviews are about the company sending technicians door to door to advertise their services rather than about the pest control itself, so there’s not much to be concerned about there.
They have a money-back guarantee if you are not satisfied with your service, so you can be sure that the service will be up to your standards. The company responded to a lot of the negative reviews reaching out to the reviewers and saying they’d love to see what they can do to help.
They also said that if you have problems between services, they will send a technician back to re-treat your property for free. This feature was listed under the commercial services tab though, so I’m not sure if this also applies to residential.
It seems that Aruza tries very hard to be eco-friendly. They are GreenPro Certified, which is a pretty high honor in the eco-friendly pest control realm. They boast eco-friendly general pest control plans and fully organic options. It seems like the specific pests warrant different treatments though, so it would be best to get a free quote or speak to a technician to see what a treatment program would look like for your specific concerns.
They don’t seem to focus very much on child-friendliness or pet-friendliness, but I didn’t see any complaints about these things in the reviews, so I doubt that there are any big problems there.
Overall, I would recommend hiring Aruza for your pest control needs. Their reviews are some of the best out there, and they are a BBB Accredited business. They prioritize their employees and eco-friendliness, and dedication to service.
